A Poem:Summer

Sun pours through the curtain
Flowers burst through the ground
Silver trays smudged with ashes
Shallow glasses filled to the rim with beer that cools the gaze of a fiery star

Day stays still caught in time
Laughter paints the clouds with myriad colors
Lazy dusk dusts the sky
Night falls like a soothing song
